So Bored at Chemo...

This is what I look like this very second (8:44) at Chemo

So I am sitting here doing my first session of chemotherapy... It's been approximately 1 hour and 39 minutes and I AM SO BORED! I watched The Office, Modern Family, and now i'm blogging. I'm not sure if I can sit in this recliner for another 7+ hours! Steve and Michelle have already left to go get me food and explore so I am here all alone... What to do what to do?! Oh well this is all just part of! Chemo isn't that bad so far its been chill. Thanks to Amy Openshaw (my neighbor) I will soon be an official Cancer Survivor! I'll post towards the end. Love You All!!

As I look at the clock you must be close to finishing . . . for today anyway. Thought about you all day (every time I was hungry :)! And then remembered how lucky we all are to be allowed to share this journey with you. Thanks for sharing and thank you for your example--everyday.

Hey girliebear...

I Lovvve that face! ...You crack me up! ...I hear that laughter is the best medicine, right?! .But, shouldn't WE be the ones making YOU laugh? Thanks for your silliness, we love it!

Here's your positive affirmation for the day: "my cancer cells are commiting suicide right now!" (or something similar...) Repeat that over and over in your head and then visualize it. Like you could imagine anything you'd like... such as;

They're jumping in front of a train, they're blowing their own brains out, their getting the crap kicked out of them, ....something like that! Have fun with it, -- you said you were bored.

We love ya,
Nancy

I have to admit that when I first found out about your diagnosis I cried. And then I felt helpless. I am so happy to be able to fast and pray for you today. If I could give you all my energy and strength by simply fasting I might do this every day. We love you, and the Maxwell house has sent extra pleadings above today hoping you will feel more love, more strength, and more able to endure. Love you lot's.

I love the comment that the cancer cells are commiting suicide. i can just visualize them being run over by a train or plane or space ship. Keep them running for their lives only to lose. love you. Sis. Bergeson
